Division 2
99 ?

1. Joe Dillon, Nanuet
2. Tyler Aslanian, Edgemont
3. Andrew Barsuch, Croton-Harmon
Notes: Dillon is the defending champ at 96? Aslanian placed third.

106 ?

1. Richie Dosin, Hastings
2. Skylar Korek, Edgemont
3. Tyler Wexler, Irvington
Notes: Dosin gets the slight early edge after placing second at 103 last season? Korek placed second at 96? Wexler placed fourth at 103.

113 ?

1. Trey Aslanian, Edgemont
2. Stephen Paternostro, Pleasantville
3. Matt Powell, North Salem
Notes: Aslanian is probably the top wrestler pound-for-pound in D2. He?s looking for a state title after placing second at 103 last season? Paternostro placed fourth in the section at 96.

120 ?

1. Drew Longo, Ardsley
2. Anthony Calvano, Nanuet
3. D.J. Frederich, Croton-Harmon
Notes: Longo and Calvano are two of the more well-accomplished wrestlers in D2, and have developed quite the rivalry. Longo defeated Calvano in last season?s 112-final, 9-3? Frederich placed fourth at 112? Other names to watch are Edgemont?s Max Abramsky and Putnam Valley?s Patrick O?Grady.

126 ?

1. Jimmy Kyreakedes, Dobbs Ferry
2. David Occhipinti, Croton-Harmon
3. Matt Dillon, Nanuet
Notes: If it stays like this, this weight class is the most loaded in D2. My guess is that at least one of these top three will move to 132, because they are all section-title quality wrestlers? Kyreakedes has separated himself from the pack a bit with a fourth place finish in the state at 119 last season? Occhipinti won a section title at 125? Dillon lost to Kyreakedes in the 119-final? Another name to watch is Putnam Valley?s Chris Bruno.

132 ?

1. Dean Rogener, Westlake
2. J.P. O?Malley, Croton-Harmon
3. Kyle Kelvas, Putnam Valley
Notes: Rogener is certainly hoping that the top three at 126 all stay put. He placed third at 119 last season? O?Malley placed fourth at 130.. Kelvas placed third at 125.

138 ?

1. Jack McCormack, Edgemont
2. Johnny Martin, Croton-Harmon
3. Nick O?Halloran, Westlake
Notes: McCormack is the favorite here after placed second at 135 last season? Martin placed fourth in that same weight class.

145 ?

1. Brett Pastore, Irvington
2. Kelmend Muriqi, Putnam Valley
3. Scott Porter, Pawling
Notes: This is another very deep class? Pastore is the slight favorite after losing to eventual state champ Ryan Osleeb in the 130-final last season? Muriqi placed second at 145? Porter placed second at 140.

152 ?

1. Edgar Solis, Westlake
2. Peter Smith, Nanuet
3. Chris Kim, Edgemont
Notes: Solis is listed at 145, but I?d bet just about anything that he ends up at 152? He won a section title last season at 145? Smith placed fourth at 145? Kim placed fourth at 152.

160 ?

1. Oliver Oks, Edgemont
2. Mike Buhlman, Nanuet
3. Peter Salzarulo, Pleasantville
Notes: Not many big names here? Oks placed third at 160 last season.

170 ?

1. John Messinger, Putnam Valley
2. Kevin Degnan, Irvington
3. Jason Worobow, Edgemont
Notes: Messinger is the favorite after placing third at 171 last season? Edgemont has nobody listed at this weight, but I moved Worobow up since he and Oks were both listed at 160, but Worobow weighs more. He should be here come sectional time.

182 ?

1. Oliver Mold, Pawling
2. Chris Kraft, Croton-Harmon
3. Kevin Brundage, Nanuet
Notes: Mold is a big favorite after winning a title at 171 last season.

195 ?

1. Dan Breit, Nanuet
2. Alex Pavloff, Croton-Harmon
3. Sergio Ventura, Nanuet
Notes: This should be Breit?s to win after he placed second at 189 last season.

220 ?

1. Chris DiNardo, Irvington
2. Danny Kornberg, Edgemont
3. Kevin Hay, Putnam Valley
Notes: DiNardo is dropping down to 220 after winning a section title at 285 last season? Kornberg placed fourth at 215.

285 ?

1. Obum Anyichie, Pleasantville
2. Mike Manzo, Westlake
3. Anthony DiNardo, Irvington
Notes: Chris DiNardo?s move opens things up for Anyichie, who lost to DiNardo in last season?s final?? Chris? younger brother Anthony should take his spot in the lineup here.
