As we get into the heart of the wrestling season, we wanted to take a quick look back through the record books. Edgemont Wrestling has a tradition of excellence that’s building year-after-year. As we continue to develop champions of the future, it’s important for us to remember the champions who came before and are the foundation from which our athletes continually strive for greatness.   1. As a wrestler from the early 80’s, I think there are acknowledgements to be made for some who paved the way. Pat Storino, the heavyweight from either ’79 or ’80 who electrified crowds with his remarkable half minute or less matches and is solid Cowboy move. Andy Crowder ’81 who captained the team for two years and carried it despite failing knees. Ira Skolnik, ’83 who made it out of the league to the divisional meet in ’83 and my have been our first representative at states.
