Edgemont senior Daniel Kornberg has committed to wrestle for the University of Pittsburgh next season. The 220-pounder will be redshirted for this upcoming school year and is expected to add weight to potentially wrestle as a heavyweight.
Kornberg went 38-10 last season with 26 pins for the Panthers (That?s the Edgemont Panthers; Pittsburgh?s mascot is also a Panther). Pitt has won three consecutive EWL conference championships and finished the season ranked ninth in the nation.
