So two days ago, I?m literally sitting outside in the 70 degree sunshine before going to practice. It was awesome.
Yesterday, we traveled up to Albany. We might as well be in Canada. We drove through a blizzard and sub-freezing temperatures to get here. Now this is the State Championships weather I?m used to!
Nicky finished up his practice week really strong. He looks great! Here we are at the last State Team practice Wednesday.
When we got up here yesterday we checked in to our hotel with the Section 1 team, relaxed a bit and then headed over to the arena to get a workout in. We got a good, hard, short session for about 45 minutes and then headed back. Of course, we took Nick to the traditional Edgemont wrestling night-before-States dinner at the Victory Cafe? where else would we go!
So now I?m writing to you from my hotel room right before we head over to the arena for weigh-ins! Action starts at?9:30 AM?this morning.
