Senior Danny Kornberg will help lead Edgemont?
into the Section 1 Division II Dual-Meet Championship?
match against Nanuet on Monday at 4:30 p.m.

SCARSDALE, N.Y. ? Edgemont will host Nanuet on Monday at 4:30 p.m. for the inaugural Section 1 Division II Dual-Meet Championship.
The teams are very familiar with each other. Last year, Nanuet won the Section 1 Division II Championship with Edgemont finishing second.
Many of the wrestlers faced each other in the recent Jerry McGuire Tournament at North Rockland. Some of these matches included Edgemont?s Tyler Aslanian wrestling Joe Dillon, in the 99-pound weight class, Danny Kornberg meeting Nanuet?s Sergio Ventura in the 220-pound weight class and Sky Korek taking on Nanuet?s Vinny Skokos in the 106-pound division.
Edgemont comes into the final having beaten Dobbs Ferry and Irvington in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds, respectively. Nanuet defeated Westlake and Putnam Valley.
